You Would Know

Slanting vineyards
Waving carelessly
In the summer breeze,
Your arms around my waist,
My hand cupping
Your shy face
And I, intrigued by the
Certain thought
That you would
Know, exactly,
When the time
For loving you
Was ripe beyond
Even my imagining.
