Diane, Re "The White Tiger," I totally agree----success, by any means necessary. Capitalism, spawns the greedy, the avaricious, not to mention the superegos of people like Trump, another "sociopathic capitalist," as you so beautifully put it.

The White Tiger certainly catches all the flaws of a market system on overdrive. Owning a van of limousines is not much different than all the doc.com companies that arrived on the American scene during that economic bubble or the Savings and Loans creeps who metastisized throughout the system. Or, more recently, the predators of Lehman Brothers, Enron, and AIG.

It's all a variation on a theme....Be well...and thanks so much for your insightful comments. They give me the energy to keep writing.

In the summation of 'The White Tiger' the author brings to us a depressing outgrowth of India's caste system: the 'white tigers' called the anomalies who are lucky enough to climb out of their station with a few becoming the new capitalist-driven sociopaths who won't go away because they are the ones to succeed by any means necessary.
